Mindfulness was always intriguing to me, so I decided to do my thesis on the idea of the impact of team mindfulness on well-being and organizational performance. Upon doing my research and conducting my thesis, I discover there is a moderate positive correlation between team mindfulness and improved outcomes in both well-being and performance. The thesis underscores the benefits of incorporating mindfulness practices in teams to enhance well-being and organizational performance aspects such as productivity and efficiency, while reducing stress and conflict.

Relevance: Why is it important?
By implementing team mindfulness practices, organizations can reduce employee stress, improve job satisfaction, and foster a more cohesive and productive work environment among teams. This insight I gained while doing my research is crucial for practitioners seeking effective strategies to boost team dynamics, innovation, and overall organizational success.

Results
Team mindfulness positively impacts both well-being and organizational performance proven with moderate effect sizes. Teams with higher mindfulness levels experienced reduced stress, better emotional regulation, and increased job satisfaction, enhancing individual and team collaboration. Organizationally, mindfulness practices boosted productivity, engagement, and creativity while reducing task conflict. These findings suggest that fostering mindfulness within teams can lead to significant benefits for both employees and organizations.

Implications for Practitioners
• Enhanced Employee Well-Being: Implementing team mindfulness practices can reduce stress levels, improve emotional regulation, and increase job satisfaction among employees.

• Improved Organizational Performance: Mindfulness within teams leads to higher productivity, greater engagement, and enhanced creativity, contributing to overall organizational success.

• Better Team Collaboration: Mindful teams experience less task conflict and better communication, fostering a more cohesive and supportive work environment.

• Effective Stress Management: Mindfulness practices help in managing workplace stress, promoting a healthier and more balanced work atmosphere.

• Strategic Development: Organizations can integrate mindfulness with other development strategies, such as leadership training, to maximize potential benefits and address specific workplace challenges.

Methods
The methodology involved conducting a meta-analysis of 20 empirical studies and examining the effects of team mindfulness on well-being and organizational performance. The selected studies included 15 correlation studies, 4 intervention studies, and 1 observational study, encompassing a total of 7,113 participants and 803 recorded teams. Effect sizes were calculated using correlation coefficients (r) (for correlation studies) and Cohen’s d (for intervention studies), with negative coefficients inverted to maintain consistency. The analysis differentiated between small, moderate, and large effect sizes, providing a comprehensive overview of how team mindfulness impacts various organizational and well-being outcomes across different industries and countries.
